Here is a brief rundown on our exceptional property inspection team:
Steve Schira, P.E.*, has a B.S. Civil Engineering and an MBA from Ohio State University. Also a member of ASHI**, Schira has experience in construction and engineering.
Alan Gibson, has a B.S. in Metallurgical Engineering from Ohio State, a Masters in Material Science Engineering from Michigan State, and two years of PhD research in Material Science Engineering. Alan has 25 years of engineering and operations management experience, and currently teaches engineering related topics at a local technical college.
Chris Matthews, has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University. He has many years of experience in real estate, HVAC equipment and controls.
Matt Macasek, P.E.*, has a B.S. in Civil Engineering specializing in Construction Engineering from Ohio State. He has 7-years total of engineering work experience in design, construction management, and inspection and is active in P.E. license continuing education as a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, Structural Engineering Institute, and Architectural Engineering Institute.
Mike Haines, P.E.*, has a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the Ohio State University. Mike has over 35 years of construction and engineering experience.
Bill Davis, has a B.S. Mechanical Engineering and an MBA, both from The Ohio State University. Bill is a former Marine fighter pilot and is President of the Midstate Ohio Kart Club. He has a racing family, builds karts, and still loves to go fast!
Sydney Hoy – Office Manager
Sydney has a B.A. in Psychology from Ohio University, where she also minored in Spanish.
*P.E. (Professional Engineer) is a professional license requiring at least 8 years of engineering education and experience and passage of a comprehensive, 16 hour entrance examination.
**ASHI is the American Society of Home Inspectors. Eligibility requires inspectors to have performed a minimum of 250 home inspections and passage of a comprehensive entrance examination.
